The Gulf Stream
The Gulf Stream is an international drug bust and offshore powerboat racing film. It's set in Miami, The Bahamas, Haiti, Columbia, Norway, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Essential sequences in the film feature high-octane offshore races with Go-Fast boats and Class-1 Championship Cats, major international drug smuggling busts featuring the US Coast Guard and the DEA and criminal guerilla organizations including Haitian Pirates and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Columbia. This film is set in an "absolute" real-world scenario, meaning all measures have been taken to research and consult the appropriate personnel in the powerboat industry, international police forces and counter drug trafficking organizations.
As Wonderland Goes By...
As Wonderland Goes By... is an indy feature which will push the boundaries of possibility for a low budget movie. It's setting is Sofia, Budapest, Prague, Kiev and Tehran. It's a road movie, like Peckinpah's The Getaway, but is mixed with plenty of Dr. Strangelove catastrophe and black humor. It also marries an epic amount of sexual, sensual, sadistic inspiration from Wild Orchid, Eyes Wide Shut and Dangerous Liaisons. The audience for this film is very much the Pulp Fiction, Trainspotting, Natural Born Killers, Goodfellas and Boogie Nights generation. The swinging soundtrack should really kick it into gear.
Filming begins throughout Europe in September 2011. It will screen for buyers at the Marche Du Film in 2012.
